Providing
stable and reliable front-end platform for value-added
services such as CRBT, BGM and ringback tone search
Such
value-added services as CRBT (Coloring Ring Back Tone),
BGM (Background Music Service) and ringback tone search
have attracted more and more attention in recent years
and their market penetration rates have also been growing
increasingly. Since commissioning of the first CRBT system
in China by Eastcom and its cooperative partners on May
17, 2003, Eastcom CS21-IPS has been put into commercial
operation as front-end signaling switching platforms in
more than 10 provinces and cities by China Mobile. The
system provides powerful technical support for implementation
of the CRBT service and acts as a basic platform worthwhile
long-term cooperation for operators and software providers.
